Everytime I watch Yechan perform that solo (or every other solo tbh), I always think "I NEED TO BE ABLE TO PLAY THIS!!" and then realise that I probably won't be able to anytime soon 😭😭. It would be SO much easier if I had sheet music to read, but I can never find any (I guess actually practicing would also help ahaha). I think I need to start a petition to get Mystic to release sheet music, how amazing would that be??

I’m preparing for my exam in April rn and the pedal like ?? squeaks?? whenever I press it like omg I can’t deal w this much longer. and I alr know abt the cracked soundboard in the piano so it’s just problems adding onto the other. we really need a new piano so we’re gonna look out for used ones and hopefully we can find one I rly like (cause I’m so attached to my piano :( I don’t want to let her go)

WELL I recorded like 98% of the concert or so, SO I HAVE A LOT A LOT of clips that I haven’t shared. but I am very happy to share them :)) the concert timeline was: soundcheck, intro+rolling rolling, intro+knowhow, member introduction (basically sangyeop’s sexy English time), one by one, straight line, talking time (including sangyeop overjoyed at how many water bottles he had to douse walwals in later on), flowering, haze (im going through the vids to get this timeline right for you AND THE VOLUME AT WHICH I SCREAMED WHEN HAZE STARTED I cant even blame past zanna cause it’s still my fav song), talking (ft wonsang saying he’s a bit shy and me melting in real time), snooze, jogging, talking (ft sangyeop and gwangil joking abt all the things they’re going to do when they leave the stage), yechan and wonsang duo merry go round of life, sangyeop and gwangil coming back w popcorn (and sangyeop giving some to walwals lmao), sangyeop on the drums (which was so funny and cute he joked around w gwangil a bit before gwangil began his solo stage), gwangil solo stage he performed nan chun by so soseon, and then his own solo song would you dance with me?

I interrupt this rundown of the concert to share this clip which was way too cute when I rewatched it. sangyeop doing the drum part w his mouth instead of the actual sticks and Wonsang being SO CUTE in the spinning chair and his little giggle and KDJDKAD VI I AM NOT OKAY

anyway moving on after that they did the only exception by paramore, counting stars by one republic (this stage in particular I was SO TIRED my body was giving up on me so I went to sit, the vid is not the best but the vocals were incredible so still would love to share it’s one of my fav stages from the concert actually I could cry listening to their vocals back lmao), talking, hero, unbelievable, talking, intro+I got u, intro+hot!, talking, boogie man, talking (ft wonsang hearts w me!!), you’re right, talking, intro+flare, ending, talking+phototime+touching wonsangs bass+getting yechan’s bow etc etc, end of show

I know!!! This past few weeks has been lucy heaven on my blog I’ve had like 3 moots all ask for recs and get into them which is just so lovely to see. I'm sorry I come back, but I know probably you have to many ask, I just need to let out my thoughts. Maybe it'll be just rambler but I need to share it.

I was talking to a friend about them and how I view them with the interactions, and she basically told me that it's sounded like they have something unresolved. Like an unresolved situation, I don't think is something wrong. I see that they will be looking at each other's yes, but maybe my friend is into something. With the idea of an unresolved situation, it does give the impression that something needs to be talked and is not talked.

I actually watched a video from the game channel where it's about fishy lying, I can't remember the name exactly, but Shayne give so many looks, I'm telling you right now he does gives a lot of looks to Chance, you can tell even though the camera isn't really focusing on where is, when he talked to Noah or Arasha you could see what direction he was looking, but when he would look that way, you understand then who he was looking at. I actually want to make a big comb from this two, if I ever do, I'll let you know!

I rewatch the theater video like 16 times by this point, the last uno game like 6 times, the guilty one like 8 times, the love is blind surprisingly only 5 times because I feel is too long hahahah, the flipping chicken video like 6 times, the reddits ones like 3 times each of the ones where Chance is, at this point in life I just been hunting for the moments where Shayne just laugh at whatever Chance says. I love that. Also they are that kind of ship that is niche (nobody gets it) oh oh oh right and the edit you made with the Margaret song, I think I watched that video since is a short video, more than I should. You really capture them in that edit.

Just sharing, as a long time army & months into shipping, I rewatched many contents, read blogs to weigh how I view things. & I do agree that vmin shippers are more rational & sensible. I read tk & jk vids/blogs, all of them believe/push the narrative of the members kissing/even having sex in a professional setting, which makes my blood boil. I bet u heard about this tk lives channel w 400k+ subs & mil views. I think that she perpetuated this idea w/ the 2017MAMA manipulated hickey analysis.

I want to preface this answer by saying that I agree. It really urks me when people say that such things happen in such a professional setting. I'm going to go on a little tangent here, but I want that to be clear. I'm not interested in finding out with or when something could happen in such a setting. I just wanted to say that make such claims is pretty bold and invasive when it comes to professional settings. I would never make these kinds of claims myself, and I don't like it when other people do it. A lot of the time it's falsified, and the original source is rarely supplied.

Anyway, for the rest of this response, keep the above paragraph in mind. Because I do agree with that these claims are a little outlandish and quite invasive most of the time, but I also want to point some things out. Offer a different perspective, if you will. Related to this ask, but possibly unrelated to the boys themselves. (though it'll still relate to them, so please don't let that anecdote chase you away.)

Let's start with the hickey thing. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my unbelievably fair/pale skin tone, or if this is a thing that many people suffer with, but hickey analyses get on my nerves anyway. For me, if I so much as brush a hand over my neck/chest area, I get big red marks on my skin. I don't know why. It's just a thing that happens. They don't ever look like hickeys, but I've often had people tease me about it and question who did it to me. So anyway, there's that. (And not to mention the obvious with people editing screenshots to make it look like someone has a hickey, which happens all the time...always view the original source.)

Anyway, moving on from that. While I agree that it's a little ridiculous, outlandish, bold, and obviously invasive to point fingers and say that they'd do such things in professional settings, it's not impossible. I've had to have several discussions with my team members because we found evidence that a couple of people had snuck off together and got a little handsy. I believe that this had to have been other teams (because I trust my team and believe they are more responsible than that), however, I've still had to have the discussions regardless. It is, without a doubt, highly unprofessional and extremely irresponsible to do things that like, but people still do it. (NOTE: I do not think it's okay to make these assumptions about the BTS members with each other or any else for that matter. I know, I am stating that this kind of thing is possible, and I know that people are going to do with that information what they will. I'm just hoping the people reading this are mature and responsible enough to understand that I can point these kinds of things out without condoning the assumptions. And if you're not that mature and responsible, please get off the internet. It's no place for you.)

Another note. Let's say that some hickeys did show up during a vlive where two members were together. Of course, this isn't the case in any scenario. Again, it would be a pretty unprofessional and irresponsible thing to do. While I don't believe the BTS members themselves would do anything like this, it's still a possible thing to happen with a couple. People who want to lay claim and ownership over their partner or want to have physical evidence on their partner can do this. There are couples that do things like that all the time. Of course, a lot of that is going to depend on many things. Such as where someone works and how much they can get away with. You definitely wouldn't mark up a partner and make them go to work with evidence if it would get them fired from a job (which can and has happened to people). In the case of BTS, yes. I don't think the company would be very happy with the members doing something like that. Not that I necessarily think they would get fired over it or anything (though it could be possible), I am so sure that there would be some sort of repercussions.

So. In short, while the things that people say are technically possible, I don't think it's okay to make those kinds of assumptions. And, even so, I don't think the BTS members would do something like that. And even even so, making those kind of outlandish claims is pretty disrespectful if I'm being honest...

So I was watching some old SVT videos, and realized there's probably a lot of older performances that newer Carats don't know about. But there's a lot of great stuff, so here's a handful of performance videos I watched way too many times as a Carat in 2015 (before we were called "Carats" 😂) that I don't really hear people talk about. If you haven't watched Seventeen Project, you really should! I feel like as time’s gone on, less and less new fans have seen it. There's a lot of good stuff in there, it’s an important part of the boys’ history, and back in 2015 it was the main source of SVT content lmao I could list all of their performances on the show, but I won't~ But here's a few worth noting:

Taste + Bed Breaker (TBB): Still my favorite SVT choreo tbh

No F.U.N original: So they did a challenge where they were split into random groups, and they wrote and performed songs, all of which they've gone on the rearrange and release on an album at some point. No F.U.N was the winner of the challenge for a reason; the original performance is so good! Every album, fans would be begging for No F.U.N to be on it, and then finally it was 🙏

Hello original: i still prefer this version of "Hello". I LOVE the chorus, it just flows so much nicer. I'm sad they changed it when they rearranged it for the album. I think the pacing in the second half of the rearranged chorus makes it sound choppy and unnatural. If you haven't, give this one a listen and let me know what you think!

Drift Away original: This one's good, but I think they improved it a lot for the album

OMG original: I like this one as much as the performance unit version. I like the rap parts, the choreo, and i think Jihoon's voice suits the song particularly well.

Shining Diamond MV: I wasn’t gonna put this on here bc I figured everyone’s seen it, but there’s less than 3 mil views, so maybe not?

Bindaetteok Gentleman: The performance that made me want to make this list! It's a cover of an old, funny Korean song, and the boys have some real handsome looks going~

Sorry Sorry: Seventeen's always been compared to and admired Super Junior, and the number of members mean they can pull off the choreo well. (Before I was a Carat, i was an ELF, so i would get VERY excited to see Seventeen performing any SJ songs lmao)

Adore U Vocal Unit Acoustic version: If you've only heard the vocal unit version of “Adore U” that's on "Love & Letter", you are MISSING OUT. The vocal unit put out this one during Adore U era, and Josh arranged it. I got so excited when I saw it on the L&L tracklist, then disappointed it wasn't the same. It's better imo 🤷 (also they're all rocking some major Boyfriend Looks™)

Adore U Performance Unit version: Hey this one's fun lmao It’s got some awesome choreo around the Pledis building and Josh randomly popping up with his guitar

MAMA 2015: Mansae: they worked the desks into the choreo so well and yooo that part where Hoshi jumps on the desks just as they push them together gets me every time, u gotta watch it

MAMA 2015: Monsta X Collab: MONTEEN MONTEEN MONTEEN I love Monteen, and this stage is great and often forgotten about

Soundcloud: Ah yes their Soundcloud! The boys still put stuff up there (like Dino’s & Minghao’s tracks), but if you haven’t gone back further and listened to their predebut stuff, you should~ (‘Wally’ and ‘Sunshine Remix’ with Yooara are personal favorites)

DOC 와 춤을: okay i used to watch this like every day ascvnk its so happy and everyone in the audience, whether they're a Carat or not, is having fun. The Cursed™ Sketchbook Performance: So for this appearance, fans in the audience weren't doing what they were told, and the boys suffered the consequences. So this performance gets pushed to the back of many Carats' minds. Repressed, if you will. But its a great performance! I picked it up last last year/early this year, and have rewatched it MANY times since. I adore the entire cast, and they’re all such characters irl. Just a great lil’ show, and a fun fandom to live on the outskirts of.

I was iffy about the first teaser trailer, but I’m glad that didn’t stop me from watching the premiere, because it’s a gem of a show that I highly recommend to everyone needing a good ‘ Fake Boyfriend to Actual Boyfriend’ romance. The second trailer is definitely a better representation of the show. Also? Great OST. Wang Yibo/ As much as I adore Wei Wuxian’s nonsense (wonderfully portrayed by Xiao Zhan), Lan Wangji’s BIG LOVE and dedication to Wei Wuxian makes me cry actual tears. (srsly, I have yet to sit through this show without bawling my eyes out from the BIG LOVE radiating off the screen) Yibo needs to come take responsibility for said tears, lol.

there's this author in my country, Bob Ong, i think he's pretty much the most mainstream author we have and i fucking love his books. i've only read 2 of them (so far) abnkkbsnplako?! and stainless longganisa but i fucking loved them. they are so relatable n honest n FUNNY n smart n truthful n emotionally resonant. they're basically memoirs n rando thoughts about school and writing. but i honestly really really loved them

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover - whew holy shit this book was a doozy for me. one, she's like only the 2nd fem author i've read (i'm not much of a reader if i'm being honest, dont have the patience for it), it is such an emotional love story with great characters and it had me saying i love you to the loved ones in my life after reading it (but that may or may not have to do with the fact that i just have a lotta repressed emotions that this book, and sleep deprivation from binging it, managed to wring out of me haha). it's also pretty funny n quirky n cool n haha it's the first time i read a sex scene that wasn't on fanfic haha

A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket (aka Daniel Handler irl) - i. love. these. books. they are so freaking smart and funny and amusing and lemony snicket's voice is just so effing good. i havent read all of them tho. an unfortunate mistake that i still feel guiltyabout to this day haha lol

oh god :(((( HHH!!!!!! ok im literally gonna go through this event by event. so I WALKED INTO THE ARENA with my friend to go find my seat and there’s a moment of silence before the beginning of danger’s mv begins playing. and up on the screen is jungkook playing outro: propose, that really pretty dramatic piano part. and let me tell you i literally burst into tears AT THAT MOMENT because it was just so overwhelming to realize that i was actually there and going to see them. and then there was the vcr and they all looked. So Good! i literally said “oh my god” so many times during the concert it was unreal i mean ive told you about this but yeah on to actual performances (read more)

so all this fire starts torching into the air and the stage lights are flashing everywhere with this dramatic music with heavy drums (think mama 2016 fire-esque). ok so im rewatching the vid i took as i write this and im laughing because everyone else is like “TRAADE OFF” and from me you just hear this hysterical “CHOO CHOO” OK thats not the point. i could barely focus in the first performance because i could not believe they were real but like he’s GORGEOUS they were all so gorgeous n i wanna gush about the others too but this is a jk ask. he is So Stable and powerful i dont know how he even does it. so after they finish performing they begin their ments…. when it goes to jk he kinda looks up like “:o its my turn” but then he goes “WASSUP” and he’s so sos ofuckginfg pretty he glows and his eyes and just his face at that point i screamed “I LOVE YOU… (weakly) jungoo….” and then he also said LONG TIME NO SEE he has the cutest voice :(.

when he starts singing in save me… his voice is so beautiful. and i already said it but his dancing is so powerful. n the way he looks at the camera… you feel it in your soul. and his voice is so good in im fine!!!!!! i was not, in fact, fine. the part where he falls to the floor then suddenly looks up is so intense.

but incredibly he looks absolutely ethereal when he stands and sings. this might sound weird but like…. the way his eyes are half closed is so pretty and he looks at peace. even more so when he closes his eyes all the way. ive said it so many times but his eyes literally are so captivating. all of bts look unbelievably good in person. also there’s supposed to be a fanchant In Magic Shop During The Instrumental Break But Nobody Did It but i faithfully went through all the way anyway.

n then. THE GOLDEN DUO VCR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! theyre so cuuuteekjsdhdskjfh :((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( like it was just such a happy pure colorful lighthearted vcr!!!!!

ok not to be cheesy but i literally got goosebumps and started tearing up when i heard his voice say “euphoria” in the silence. the pretty guitars start coming in and he’s revealed on the stage. he looks so at home when he sings it and there’s golden light all around him and he’s smiling. but when it’s not the chorus the lights are a blue color and it reminds me of the ocean in the music video. he really puts so much into his singing and just his overall performance. and when he does the high note in euphoria and the golden confetti explodes into the air and shimmers in the lights.

he puts his hand to chest often when he sings like he’s feeling it in his soul. but he also jams out really cutely! he jumped around during run a lot (and yet is ridiculously stable still) and his hair is bouncy! he headbanged a little too :( at the end of run during hoseok’s part he took out his earpiece to listen to us. his part in dna with tae is so iconic!!! rapper jk!!!!!!!!! literally even just the way he sings “DNA”!!!!

he asked us if we were having fun!!!! babie :( (side note tae is SOO cute when he talks in english). also the army bomb ocean was so pretty it was a range of colors from yellow green to purple and it was this amazing gradient.

then. Then. 21st century girls. Came On. but i need to save this gushing about the song itself for the next ask. all of them gather together to jam out in the center of the stage! afterwards jk wanders around! YOU SAY YES OR NO YES OR NO WOOAAAHOHHH

this goes for everyone else too but when he sings in gogo its like the words are just rolling out of his mouth if that makes sense.

but the transition to bst. unreal but im also saving that for the next ask. god and i keep talking about jk’s dancing but seriously him and the entirety of dance line are a serious force to be reckoned with. his voice when he sings his parts is so light and fluttery.

you shouldve heard me during his rap part of boy in luv. i was like “APPAAAAAAA” “EOMMAAAAAA” “PYEONJIIII” “MWONJIII” like i think those technically aren’t his lines but that whole section. and they cut straight to the bridge instead of doing the second verse and jk’s voice there especially combined with jimin and jin. and he holds the high note!!!!!!!

but his rap part in danger. hard fucking core. he’s so talented it’s unbelievable. this man does not hesitate when it comes to bangers or when it comes to headbanging.

airplane pt2. he saunters onto the stage like nobody’s business and sits and kicks back on that damn chair with his sultry ass voice. his falsetto is gorgeous when they do that part before hoseok’s airplane rap and at the end of the song. and i know it’s only part of the studio recording but when he does the “ah ah” part i lose my mind. the way he sits with the other members surrounding him just emanates this air of power and regality but almost in a casual way like “yeah we’re royalty, what about it?”

his outfit during fake love is perfect. all of the outfits are so good i could gush about them all day but alas this is a jk ask. his sleeves are see-through and he has shiny chains going across his chest harness and i’m sure you could find pictures of it but i hadn’t looked at concert pics beforehand so i was in shock at how good the outfits were. it’s like some performing beast is unleashed from jungkook during fake love. he’s absolutely in the zone and i couldn’t take my eyes off him because his presence is so strong especially when he’s in the center. it’s like he moves his body and projects his voice perfectly to the flow and energy of the song. fake love as a whole is so captivatingly intense it’s like you’re under a spell when you watch them perform it.

ok im burning out i can only write so much DSKJHSDF but the truth untold. it’s like he transforms into full angel form at this point. his voice is incredible and his harmonies and pitch and the emotion he puts into it. also everybody say thank you stylists!

he also has such an aura during mic drop. everybody does but it seriously is honestly such a great track live because the energy is dominating and in that moment you really know that they absolutely do own the whole arena and set the stage on fire. ugh! and the strength that he has during the dance break at the end of mic drop!! unreal!

also i can’t imagine genuinely truly hating so what. like i see so many people saying they hate it but you know that when you hear it irl that shit makes you JUMP and they have so much fun on stage especially jk! we like to make fun of him for his shoot dance but seeing him go across the stage enjoying himself so much makes you feel just as much joy as him :( at this point would it really be a performance of so what if he didn’t do it?

at this point i knew that so what was one of the final performances n i was like. What. because it really passed by like a blur it didn’t feel nearly as long as it supposedly took and before i knew it they were performing anpanman so i HAD to cheer up because that song is so cute. and jk is all smiley when they perform it! nose scrunches and all! he actually gets up in a normal way during namjoon’s part. his eyes are all big and sparkly and playful and it feels very boyish!!!

N THEN DURING THE ENDING MENT JOON CALLED JUNGKOOK “MISTER COOL GUY JK” AND JK WAS LIKE “cool guy!” n then like “make some nooooiiiise!!!” n he was smiling doing his cute scrunch and rewatching this like. ive said it 50 times already but he’s seriously so pretty. his eyes are lit up and his expression is bright and there’s a blue light shining on him but his EYESSSSS :((((( he has a slight accent which is rly cute but his pronunciation is also really good and it feels like you just want to hug him really tight even though he’s sweaty but like Would I Complain.

his voice in answer: love myself is so smooth it’s like sitting in a warm patch of sun with a cool breeze looking up at the sky. ok i know i said i was burning out but am i really. rewatching the videos makes me so happy. and his harmonies were so nice. and he was moving side to side really cutely! like one of those figurines you put on the dashboard of your car and they dance side to side! n he’s so full of love. they were all moving their arms side to side and the army bombs were moving along with them i want to cry watching it again it’s so weird thinking that i was actually there it felt like everyone in the audience became one with all the members on stage jk was acting cute and he and all the members were waving to everyone in the audience in the pit and the further away and upper levels of the arena.

for a really long time i’ve never been able to pinpoint the happiest moment or memory of my life everytime ive been asked about it. for lack of a better answer i always left it vague but ever since the concert i can easily say it was the happiest i’d been in a long time and possibly ever and i wouldn’t trade that feeling for anything else in the world

Aw, thanks again! *blush* I've sampled a great many different things in my life, so STS is kind of a smorgasbord for all kinds of experiences, which makes it super fun to write, but for any and all of it, I require connection, which is what takes a hit-or-miss kink and makes it resonate with a lot of people. In fact, connection/disconnection is my most favorite thing to write. Smut just gives me all kinds of fun ways to exercise it. :-D Especially when I gotta have that long, drawn-out plot my muse constantly falls victim to.
